M mindset

If you think you can do a thing, or think you can’t do a thing, you’re right.   - Henry Ford

Change your thoughts and you change your life.  -Dr. Fred Schofield

What you think about, you bring about.  - Napolean Hill

This list of how your mindset dictates your life could go on and on.  The fact of the matter is:  your thoughts will dictate your health.  If you had a headache, there could be numerous mental attitudes towards the pain, the cause and the cure.

Smile and smile often.

For instance, some would think “oh me oh my, another headache, guess I’ll just take blah blah blah.  Maybe I’ll feel better and I can be nicer then.”  Facts would say otherwise.  Blah blah blah actually poisons your system, covers up some symptoms and will drastically change your mental function.  Read the label.

Someone else, may look at the headache as if they were responsible for it.  “I wonder, how did I get this?  Am I truly taking care of myself?  What can I do to heal and make sure this doesn’t happen again?”  That person will seek out a cause, work at correcting it, and get results.

Placebo pills have been proven over and over again to beat a ton of drugs to the punch.  There is a certain “placebo affect” statistic that researchers use.  This simply means that the mindset of the person must be taken into account.

How you choose to look at your health and healthcare are important.  You can have an “outside in” mentality, where healing only comes by taking something or having someone do something to you.

You can have an “inside out” mentality, where healing begins inside and works its way out to every tissue, organ and system in your body.

You can have a combination of both.  The point is, you choose every day where you want to go and what you want to believe.  Those choices affect your health.

Norman Cousins was famous for laughing his way out of pain.  While undergoing severe arthritic pain, he would belly laugh his way to some pain free sleep.  His body responded by making pain reducing chemicals.

If you think that proper diet will help, you will eat better.  A calm feeling of gratitude will give you rest.  If you want to open your mind, exercising will become easier.  Make it a point to remove interference to your brain, brainstem and spinal cord with an Awesome Adjustment.

Your life and health may not be where you want it to be.  As my wife says, “you choose your attitude”.  Your attitude towards things will dictate if you do them, how well you do them and the results you will get.

Smile and smile often, smile when you don’t feel like it, and you will feel like it when you smile.
